Survey & Asset Inspection
DPD provides the following Survey & Asset Inspection services:
- Existing Power Line Survey including Pole Location, Height & Geometry for integration into AutoCAD, PLS-CADD or Catan.
- New Alignment / Proposed route centreline survey.
- 3D corridor bandwidth survey for digital Terrain Modelling (DTM) using total station & RTK survey equipment.
- Power line Conductor Tension Checks.
- Power pole set out including bisect pegs & recovery pegs
- Asset inspection, condition assessment & identification for integration into Geographical Information Systems (GIS) – This includes power pole, light pole, junction pit etc.
- Checking suitability of infrastructure for NBN Co and optical fibre installations.
- Review of existing infrastructure for operating at higher temperatures or increased loads
