Transmission Utilities

DPD provide services to the Transmission Industry

These include:

  • Survey of existing asset for implementation into PLS Cadd
  • Modelling of existing asset in PLS Cadd
  • Preliminary Design of Transmission Lines for Tendering Purposes
  • Line Route Selection and Modelling in Google Earth
  • Tension Checks of transmission line sections
  • Aerial Line inspection for Asset Condition

 

DPD have assisted ElectraNet on several projects including Clare North 132kV Substation T-Off line design, Cherry Gardens 275kV section tension checks and aerial line inspection for OPGW re-strings.
